The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. Selects Exstream’s Dialogue Software

Leader in Property and Casualty Insurance Uses Dialogue to Streamline Document Creation and Enrich Customer Experience

Exstream Software, Inc. today announced that The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. (NYSE: THG), one of the top 35 property and casualty insurers in the United States, has selected its Dialogue software as a common platform to streamline processes and enhance the company’s ability to create complex insurance documents that are coordinated, consistent and build brand loyalty. The Hanover will use Dialogue to deliver completely personalized, relevant communications that meet current business requirements, reflect policyholder and agent preferences and provide an enhanced customer experience overall.

Key considerations in The Hanover’s selection of Dialogue included its intuitive design environment, ease of use, and robust content and system integration capabilities. The Hanover plans to take full advantage of Dialogue’s role-based, collaborative design environment, which allows business users to create targeted messages regarding important policy benefits and features that are inserted into documents at run time. Additionally, Dialogue’s ability to automatically replicate changes across document applications will reduce document development and maintenance time, significantly speed time to market, and ensure communication standards are met.

“We chose Dialogue because it was a solution that would help us create and deliver superior, highly personalized documents that reinforce our brand image,” said Mark Stergio, vice president of business delivery for The Hanover. “Compared to the alternatives, Dialogue was the only solution that offered the ability to seamlessly integrate with our current systems, as well as enable the management of documents to reside in the business.”

Additionally, with Dialogue, The Hanover is now able to create document templates that are automatically populated from data held in existing databases, further improving efficiency and helping to manage the consistency, quality and accuracy of its documents.

“It is always exciting when a company chooses Dialogue to fully support its customer communications strategy,” said Michael Charest, vice president of insurance solutions for Exstream Software. “We are pleased to work with The Hanover to help deliver greater communications to their customers.”
